Why Do Blood Separation ?

Because there are platelets in the blood, and the blood will coagulate; After centrifugation, different components have different functions and can be stored for a long time.

Centrifugal Force Range of Blood Separation

It is relative to set 1500xg ~ 2500xg. If the centrifugal force is too large, the blood cell wall will rupture to cause blood melting. That is why users need to select low-speed centrifuges to separate blood. (high speed centrifuges are required for experiments such as extracting DNA from red blood cells, but this is not called blood centrifugation.)   

Normal or Cooling System ?

If the temperature in centrifugal chamber is too high, which will damage the blood, so the non-refrigerated centrifuges can be selected for small quantity and short-time centrifugation; For large quantity and long-time spin like blood bags separation, and then refrigerated centrifuges should be selected. The general setting temperature range is 4 ℃ -12 ℃.

Maintenance

1. You should take out the rotor from the centrifugal chamber when you don't use the machine for a long time, and then store them in the ventilation and dry place after cleaning.

2. Clen the centrifugal chamber when finished centifugation, dismantle the central sleeve from the axle regularly, and lubricate the axie and central sleeve, in case of corrosion.

3. Keep the place which settle the centrifuge clean, make sure the freezer is not chocked by dirty subjects.
